Big Bass for the tourament.April 16, 2008.....Ponca City
Team Bass had a wet and chilly day for their first tournament
on Sooner Lake Mar. 30.
From a field of fourteen teams, nine brought limits of five bass
to the scales. The largest limit of fish was weighed by Gary
Combrink and Dan Melrose with 16 pounds 1 ounce.
Coming in second was Wayne Pemberton and Walt Klinger with 15
pounds. In third place with 14 pounds 13 ounces were Dean Gratias
and Herb Asche. Fourth place was Jim and Scott Jones with 14 pounds
9 ounces and rounding out the top five was Bill McDonald and David
Smith with 14 pounds 7 ounces.
The big bass of the day was caught by Roxanna Senseman and
weighed in at 6 pounds 10 ounces.
The weights of the top seven teams were very close and many
complained of losing fish that would have vaulted them into first
place.
The next PC Team Bass Tournament will be held on Skiatook Lake
April 27. Those interested in joining PC
Team Bass can call Bill McDonald at
